Glenn Powell’s ex Gigi Paris is speaking out for the first time about the fallback from his “PR scheme” romance with his Anyone But You costar Sydney Sweeney.
Paris appeared on the Too Much podcast on the June 10 episode entitled “Know your worth & onto the next,” where she got candid about how “shattered” she felt when her then-boyfriend played into the romance rumours with the Euphoria star.
“It was just, ‘This is what I have to do for my job,’” Paris recalled, saying she had two options: pretend everything was fine or “stand up” for herself. She chose the latter. “I’m actually not OK with this, and I’m walking away,” she realised.
Paris, 32, had been with the Top Gun: Maverick star, 36, for over three years and said she felt like “a fool” by the rumours — and even more so by his silence.
“Where are you when you just need to stand up and say, ‘No, I would never cheat on my girlfriend’? … Never once,” she said of Powell’s failure to defend their relationship.
“I felt like I was just fed to the dogs,” she admitted.
Worse still, she claims the steamy headlines helped boost PR for the 2024 rom-com. “It turned out … they came out to say it was all a PR scheme at the expense of our relationship.”
The final blow for Paris was a phone call from Powell, who told her not to visit him on set in Australia.
“That’s when I hung up,” she said. “This motherf*****r is done to me,” she said.
Paris unfollowed both Powell and Sweeney on social media and cryptically posted, “Know your worth & onto the next,” which was the inspiration behind her episode’s title.
